Leigh v Wigan: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Still looking for their first win since promotion, Leigh take on Wigan. The Centurions came oh so close to beating their rivals in Round One but take on a Wigan team at present unbeaten in the league. The Warriors will no doubt be hurting having lost in the cup last week and may have a point to prove.

The Centurions are still without the likes of Joe Mellor, Adam Sidlow, Blake Wallace and Brendan Elliot meanwhile former Wigan prop Ben Flower also drops out of the side. On the other hand, Jamie Ellis is back casting doubt over whether Matty Wildie will play. Ex-Wigan centre, Anthony Gelling will most likely feature.

For the Warriors, I imagine there may be a shake up in the backs following Manfredi’s appearance on the bench last week I can see him starting which means the impressive Liam Farrell will likely move into the pack. The Warriors are still without Thomas Leuluai, Liam Marshall, Jai Field and Oliver Gildart through injury whilst Tony Clubb continues to serve his suspension.
