Leigh and Catalans have both announced their 21-man squads for Saturday afternoon’s round nine fixture at Leigh Sports Village (KO 3:00pm).
The Centurions are still in search of their first victory of the year after coming fairly close last week, pushing Wakefield all the way before falling to a 30-20 victory at Belle Vue.
It doesn’t get any easier this week either, as they face a Dragons side unbeaten in their last four league games, which included wins over St Helens and Wigan.
The Centurions name a 20-man squad this week, with Ben Reynolds returning from suspension and Matty Russell also back in the fold. Anthony Gelling drops out after it was confirmed earlier this week that he has been released by the club for personal reasons. There is still no Jordan Thompson, Adam Sidlow, Ben Flower (hamstring), Blake Wallace (head), Keanan Brand (hamstring) or Alex Gerrard.
20-man squad: 1 Ryan Brierley, 2 Matty Russell, 3 Iain Thornley, 4 Junior Sa’u, 5 Lewis Tierney, 7 Joe Mellor, 9 Liam Hood, 10 Mark Ioane, 11 Ben Hellewell, 13 James Bell, 14 Matty Wildie, 16 Nathaniel Peteru, 17 Jamie Ellis, 18 Matty Gee, 19 Nathan Mason, 21 Tyrone McCarthy, 22 Craig Mullen, 25 Brendan Elliot, 26 Nathan Peats, 30 Ben Reynolds.
The Dragons make four changes, with Fouad Yaha (rib), Paul Seguier (knee) and Jason Baitieri all returning from injury, with Lambert Belmas also called up. They replace Joel Tomkins (suspended), Gil Dudson, Corentin Le Cam and Jordan Dezaria. Alrix Da Costa (knee), Matt Whitley (neck) and Arthur Romano (knee) remain unavailable through injury.
21-man squad: 1 Arthur Mourgue, 2 Tom Davies, 3 Samisoni Langi, 4 Dean Whare, 5 Fouad Yaha, 6 James Maloney, 7 Josh Drinkwater, 9 Michael McIlorum, 10 Julian Bousquet, 12 Mike McMeeken, 13 Benjamin Garcia, 15 Benjamin Jullien, 16 Paul Seguier, 17 Mickael Goudemand, 18 Lambert Belmas, 20 Matthieu Laguerre, 24 Jason Baitieri, 27 Joe Chan, 28 Sam Kasiano, 29 Sam Tomkins, 31 Cesar Rouge.
