Leigh pair handed cautions

Leigh Centurions halfback Josh Woods and forward Danny Addy have both been handed cautions by the Match Review Panel, following their Challenge Cup defeat at Hull KR.

Woods was cautioned for Other Contrary Behaviour, as he kicked the ball into the crowd following Kane Linett’s try in the opening 20 minutes.

While Addy was cautioned for Dangerous Contact in an incident shortly before after a tackle on Matty Gee.

Also free to play is Adam Higson. The winger escaped punishment, despite picking up a yellow card, and the review panel deeming he should have had a second.

Finally, Rochdale Hornets plyer Liam Whalley is also free to play, despite picking up a yellow card during the Hornets’ 72-0 defeat at York City Knights. The panel deemed the offence to only be worthy of a yellow card.
