Leigh Leopards host Wakefield Trinity in Round Six of Super League on Friday night and the team news has now been confirmed.
Both teams enter the game off the back of devastating defeats with Daryl Powell’s team losing to Hull FC 16-12 before Leigh Leopards suffered a 30-0 loss to Hull KR on Sunday afternoon.
That loss for Leigh meant that they lost their unbeaten start to the season whilst it also means that they’ve not scored a point against the Robins in their last three meeting, however, Adrian Lam’s focus will have already turned to Friday night and Wakefield.
Trinity started the season with a win against Leeds Rhinos before narrowly losing to Hull KR in Round Two. Their Round Four win over Warrington was a big one, as was their Challenge Cup victory against Huddersfield with all three wins this season coming away from home.
That could be bad news for the Leopards who are already licking their wounds after what Adrian Lam described as a ‘schooling’ by Hull KR.
The team news for both sides has now been confirmed.
Leigh Leopards team news
Adrian Lam had suggested that the likes of Frankie Halton and Robbie Mulhern could be back soon and that’s proven true with both men returning in a massive boost for the Leopards.
Furthermore, Josh Charnley has been named for the first time since limping off against Wigan Warriors in Round One as the Leopards name their strongest squad of the season.
As a result, Andrew Badrock, AJ Towse and Nathan Wilde, who has just been loaned to Featherstone Rovers, all drop out of the squad.

Wakefield Trinity team news
Wakefield are another side who have been doing it tough with injuries, missing much of their pack to start the season before then seeing full-back Max Jowitt go down injured, however, Daryl Powell suggested it would not be “anything major”.
Despite that, Jowitt is unable to return with Powell making just one change to his squad as Corey Hall misses out and forward Isaiah Vagana returns after a shoulder injury.
Vagana’s return will be a welcome one with Trinity now fleshing out their pack after the returns of others such as Renouf Atoni, Ky Rodwell and Josh Griffin, however, Matty Storton remains absent after suffering a bad knee injury against Huddersfield in the cup.
Wakefield Trinity 21-man squad: 2. Lachlan Walmsley, 3. Cameron Scott, 5. Tom Johnstone, 6. Jake Trueman, 7. Oliver Russell, 8. Mike McMeeken, 9. Liam Hood, 10. Ky Rodwell, 12. Josh Griffin, 13. Jay Pitts, 15. Caleb Hamlin-Uele, 16. Renouf Atoni, 18. Isaiah Vagana, 19. Oliver Pratt, 20. Mason Lino, 21. Mathieu Cozza, 23. Josh Rourke, 24. Matty Russell, 25. Jack Croft, 28. Harvey Smith, 31.
