Leigh Leopards v Hull KR team news as Willie Peters makes two changes

Hull KR

Hull KR boss Willie Peters has made two changes to his 21-man squad to take on Leigh Leopards this weekend. The Robins travel across the Pennines in a determined mood after falling short on home soil last time out against Leeds Rhinos.

That was just the club’s second defeat of the year and Peters and KR will be keen to avoid any negative momentum setting in as the business end of the season approaches. Unfortunately for the east Hull outfit, they’ll be without their star man Mikey Lewis, who misses the game through concussion protocols.

Lewis was forced off the field last week against Leeds and won’t be allowed to feature at Leigh Sports Village. Danny Richardson is included though following the expiration of his two-week loan at Salford Red Devils.

James Batchelor is included as well for the Robins, which is to be expected, but Peters stopped short of saying he will play against the Leopards, with the decision in the player’s hands as he bids to return from a throat injury. Harvey Horne is the man dropping out to make way for Batchelor.

Leigh boss Adrian Lam has made just one change to his squad for Saturday’s contest with David Armstrong dropping out after being ruled out for the remainder of the season. Will Brough is the man to replace him, with the rest of the squad remaining unchanged.

The Leopards remain without the likes of Aaron Pene, Darnell McIntosh and Robbie Mulhern.
