Leigh Leopards unveil striking away jersey that is sure to divide opinion once more

Leigh Leopards have released their new away jersey for the upcoming 2025 Super League season. The Leopards have struck a deal with Reebok for the new season, with the kit supplier making all their kits and training gear for the upcoming campaign.

Reebok’s attempt at a red and white leopard print home shirt certainly divided opinion and their ‘stealth leopard’ away number promises to do exactly the same. The black shirt with electric blue trim is inspired by a black leopard and subtly features the big cat on the front of the shirt, with blue eyes sitting on top of the Jet 2 sponsor.

In keeping with the Leopards brand, the shirt also features plenty of leopard print, which is more prominent at the bottom and on the sleeves. Black shorts accompany the jersey and club owner Derek Beaumont has confirmed that Leigh will be wearing the shirt in round one when they travel to face Wigan Warriors at the Brick Community Stadium.

โ€œThis shirt is a great example of what the rebrand to Leopards allows us to do,” Beaumont told the Leigh Leopards website. “Having returned to red and white for this yearโ€™s home kit I wanted to try something different to the very successful black and gold kit of last year. All credit must go to Bradley who designed it and nailed it in one.

โ€œI am really pleased with the look and I am confident it will increase our sales on last yearโ€™s successful numbers. Our attention is now on the design for Magic Weekend where we will have the opportunity to try another idea we are working on.

“The players love the Stealth Leopard kit and it will be great to see them run out in it at the Brick Community Stadium for the first game of the Betfred Super League 2025 season.โ€

The jersey is available to pre-order and will be available later this month.
