Shorrocks will add more to a pack that has already seen plenty of additions this year, a key one being Jack Hughes from Warrington.
The versatile forward will slot in as of this week and therefore on his two-week loan be available to play against Hull KR this week, before St Helens visit the Leigh Sports Village next week.
Leigh have already integrated plenty of singings into their side, seven players debuted on opening night but it was to no avail as Salford ran out 20-10 winners.
The Leopards first away trip since returning to Super League also didn’t work out as Catalans Dragons put Adrian Lam’s men away for a second successive loss.
With two win Hull KR and the World Champion’s St Helens coming up it will be a trial by fire for the Wigan forward Shorrocks.
The 23-year-old debuted for Wigan in 2019 and will look to forge a role at Leigh.
