Bradford Bulls host Leigh Leopards in the final game of Super League round 14 and the team news is in for both sides, with Adrian Lam making a decision on the fitness of star centre pair Tesi Niu and Umyla Hanley.
Speaking to the media mid-week, Lam revealed that both men would be given time to pass fitness tests with the Leopards head coach admitting just how crucial both men are to his side’s success.
In their absence last week, forward Jack Hughes played in one centre slot with full-back Bailey Hodgson occupying the other position but there’s been a change for today’s game at Odsal with neither man returning to the action.
As for the hosts, they’re looking to keep their impressive home record up with Bradford having won five of their seven Super League games at Odsal this season, enough to keep them within four points of today’s opponents.
Key to their success have been several signings and their leadership trio of Ryan Sutton, Joe Mellor and Jayden Nikorima, with the latter described by Kurt Haggerty as 50/50, when he spoke earlier in the week.
A decision has now been made with both sets of team news locked in.
