Leigh Centurions are set to make major signing announcements in the next few days.
That’s according to owner Derek Beaumont who engaged in a set of cryptic clues about the new head coach of Leigh over Twitter.
With the announcement of Adrian Lam as head coach, the Centurions can now finally start building a pre-season in time for a tilt at Championship promotion in 2022.
The likes of Joe Wardle and Jy Hitchcox have already made it through the doors at the Leigh Sports Village, but Beaumont has revealed that there are a few more key announcements to be made.
Decided go for lam @seanricho hope your steaks as nice 😂 looking forward to having such a high quality leader take our great club forward! Big future ahead with quality signings to follow over next few days 💪👊 https://t.co/9T23EW84zA

Leigh were relegated from Super League in just their first year back in the big time, winning just two games all season, so it’s been a major rejuvenation program for Beaumont to kickstart.
And, with Chris Chester appointed as head of rugby, the rebuild had already been underway when Lam was appointed.
Super League Coach of the Year in 2020, Lam steered former side Wigan Warriors to a Grand Final in that year, but missed out completely in 2021.
That left Wigan to part ways with their former halfback, but Beaumont has snapped him up ahead of what is promised to be an incredible Championship season.
