Leigh Centurions name ‘Super League quality’ squad for Featherstone Rovers clash

Leigh Centurions are a side vying for a Super League spot in 2023.

The club has recruited heavily in the past six months with new head coach Adrian Lam moving to the Leigh Sports Village following his departure from Wigan Warriors.

The likes of Blake Ferguson, Nene MacDonald and Krisnan Inu have all joined the Centurions as they gear up for a major fixture tomorrow against arch-rivals Featherstone Rovers.

Both clubs are going head to head in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium instead of Wembley with most people predicting that it will be a prelude to the Championship final at the end of the season.

And, Lam has named his 21-man squad for the clash against Rovers tomorrow, with many people hailing it as a ‘Super League’ quality squad – just like Featherstone’s last night.

The 21-man squad in full:

1 Caleb Aekins
3 Keanan Brand
4 Nene MacDonald
6 Ben Reynolds
7 Joe Mellor
8 Adam Sidlow
9 Aaron Smith
10 Mark Ioane
