It has been horrendous conditions at the Millennium Stadium as Featherstone Rovers take on Leigh Centurions and the amount of injuries that have already been suffered proves that point.
Leigh prop Chris Green went off first with a suspected fractured arm, with Rovers’ Joey Leilua being taken off later with a calf problem.
Leilua had already shown his class, setting up Luke Briscoe for his first try, beating three men before offloading superbly for Briscoe.
His night, however, was cut short with that problem around the 20 minute mark.
Josh Hardcastle was taken off for Featherstone too, with Leigh’s Aaron Smith succumbing to a head knock shortly after Leilua was taken off the field.
