Leeds and Hull KR have both announced their 21-man squads for Friday night’s Challenge Cup quarter final fixture at the Totally Wicked Stadium (KO 8:15pm).
Both teams received a bye in Round 6 to reach this stage, after the five Championship and League 1 clubs still involved, and Toronto, withdrew from the competition.
KR did, however, enter in Round 4, defeating Leigh 22-19 at KCOM Craven Park.
A Covid-19 scare meant the Rhinos were forced into late changes ahead of their game against Huddersfield last week, however all tests have since come back negative. That means the likes of Alex Mellor, Matt Prior and Rhyse Martin are all cleared to return, while young forwards Jarrod O’Connor and Sam Walters are also called-up by Richard Agar. Brad Dwyer and Alex Sutcliffe both picked up suspensions last week, while Bodene Thompson, Brett Ferres and James Harrison are Cup-tied.

Jordan Abdull’s two-match suspension means he drops out of Tony Smith’s side, with Jamie Ellis recalled. Rob Mulhern also returns from injury, with Joe Keyes the man omitted. Mulhern is one of six Rovers players who could line up against their former club.
