Leeds v Castleford: Squads Announced

Leeds and Castleford have both announced their 21-man squads for Monday night’s Super League West Yorkshire derby at Emerald Headingley Stadium (KO 7:45pm).

The Rhinos come into the squad off the back of defeat against St Helens on Friday night.

After a torrid few weeks with injury and Covid-related issues, Daryl Powell’s side come into the game on the back of a win, having triumphed over Hull KR 38-24 on Thursday.

Leeds Rhinos

Richard Agar has welcomed back a number of big personalities for this West Yorkshire derby. Tom Briscoe, Konrad Hurrell, Ash Handley, Luke Gale, Kruise Leeming, Matt Prior, Alex Mellor, Rhyse Martin and Liam Sutcliffe return to the 21-man-squad after being rested against St Helens. They replace Rhys Evans, Callum McLelland, Sam Walters, Jarrod O’Connor, Jack Broadbent, Corey Hall, Liam Tindall, James Harrison and Levi Edwards.

Castleford Tigers

The Tigers have also made seven changes to the side that beat Hull KR. They welcome back Liam Watts, Oliver Holmes, James Clare, Matt Cook, Tyla Hepi and Gareth O’Brien. Academy player Cain Robb could also make his debut. They replace Grant Millington, Adam Milner, Nathan Massey, Jacques O’Neill, Brad Martin, Bailey Hodgson and Jack Sanderson.
