Leeds star Courtney Hill to play for Sydney Roosters

Super League’s Woman of Steel Courtney Hill is to represent Sydney Roosters at the NRL Nines next month.
The Leeds Rhinos captain will go on loan to the NRLW side for the two-day event before returning to play in the 2020 Women’s Super League.
Hill, a native of Queensland, came over to the UK after a successful career as a cricketer for Queensland Fire and Brisbane Heat.
The 33-year-old playmaker was Super League’s standout player in 2019 as she led the Rhinos to a league and cup double.

“I have been watching how the women’s game is developing back home and it’s very exciting and enticing,” Hill told the Leeds Rhinos website.
“I’m always looking for the next crazy thing to do and when I spoke to the Roosters and they offered me the opportunity to play for them in the Nines which I thought would be a great thing to do.”
Hill will also get married while she takes time out down under, with the NRL Nines taking place at the HBF Park in Perth on February 14-15.
