Leeds star believes the Rhinos can still win Super League

It may seem a bit ‘out there’, but Leeds hooker Kruise Leeming still believes that the West Yorkshire club can win the Super League title.

According to the Yorkshire Post, Leeming – who represented his mother’s Swaziland heritage in last week’s All Stars clash with England – is determined to win the next three games to lift Leeds into the top half of the table.

“We’ve set a target of getting these three – Salford, Leigh and Warrington,” Leeming said.

“If we do that, we could be up to fifth or sixth and, at the halfway point of the season, and with the start and issues we’ve had, we’d take that.

“We’ve not given up on winning the competition.

“A lot of people have already written us off but we don’t see it like that.

“The spirit we have in camp here is good and if we win these three we’re in with a chance.”
