Leeds Rhinos vs Huddersfield Giants: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Two teams feeling good about themselves with very clear and distinguished goals as we near the end of the season meet as we begin Round 25 of 27 in Super League.

Huddersfield have been very clear that they want to pip Wigan to second place and with the Warriors set to play St Helens on Friday, this week represents a very real opening for the Giants to close the gap on the Warriors.

As for Leeds, they need to keep winning to wrap up a spot in the top six. They’ll also be aware that should Catalans’ implosion continue, they could squeeze into the top four ahead of the French side.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage begins on Sky Sports Arena from 19:30.

Predicted Line-ups

Leeds Rhinos
The biggest story of the game could be the return of Leeds skipper and former Huddersfield man Kruise Leeming. If fit, he’ll allow Jarrod O’Connor to take over the absent Cameron Smith’s role as the playmaking loose-forward as Leeming and Brad Dwyer act as a dangerous duo at nine once more. Despite this, I believe James Bentley will remain at 13 after brilliant showing there against Warrington. David Fusitu’a will return to the wing after a ban in place of the injured Liam Tindall. Despite returning to fitness Tom Briscoe is unlikely to play despite the niggles of Zak Hardaker.

Huddersfield Giants
The big call Ian Watson has to make is does he stick with Louis Senior after the wing after a superb display against Castleford even though the winger is set to leave whilst his brother Innes is committed to the club. Another big decision is whether Will Pryce takes over in the halves but I can foresee Olly Russell again joining Theo Fages in the halves. Watson could also recall former Leeds man Owen Trout.

4 Ricky Leutele
37 Toby King
21 Leroy Cudjoe
23 Olly Russell
7 Theo Fages
20 Oliver Wilson
