Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR teams confirmed as Willie Peters makes two changes

Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR

Hull KR boss Willie Peters has made two changes to his line-up to take on Leeds Rhinos this evening. Rovers know they can move eight points clear at the top of the table with a win at Headingley tonight and that would be enough to all but secure the League Leaders’ Shield with four more games to play after this evening.

Leeds, on the other hand, have the top two in their sights and they can move level on points with Wigan Warriors should they pick up their second victory of the season over Rovers, who have one of their star men back in the fold.

Tyrone May has missed the last two games through suspension but he’s available tonight and he steps straight back into the side. His return prompts a string of position changes with Arthur Mourgue moving back to full-back, Jack Broadbent moving to centre, James Batchelor stepping back into the pack and Dean Hadley dropping to the bench.

Rhyse Martin makes his first return to Headingley since leaving Leeds last year, while Eribe Doro is the second man to step into the fold. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves drops out as he serves the first of his two-game ban, while Bill Leyland slips off the bench.

As expected, Leeds have gone with the same 17 that beat Castleford Tigers last time out and that means there’s no Mikolaj Oledzki and Joe Shorrocks, who joined from Salford Red Devils earlier this week, must make do with an 18th man spot.

Jarrod O’Connor comes into the starting XIII though with Andy Ackers dropping to the bench, in what is the only change of any real note for the Rhinos.
