Brad Arthur and John Cartwright have named their respective Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC line-up for this evening’s clash at Headingley Stadium.
Leeds enter the game on the back of their Magic Weekend win over St Helens and after showing signs of improvement over the last few weeks, they’ll be keen to consolidate fourth place and begin looking up the table as the summer approaches.
Hull, on the other hand, have lost their last three Super League games and while they currently sit in sixth, they need to stop the rot tonight in West Yorkshire. Cartwright has kept changes to a minimum, with Brad Fash the only man coming into the 17-man squad tonight.
The forward has missed the last five weeks with a calf injury, but has been deemed fit enough to be named on the bench. That means Ed Chamberlain keeps his spot in the back-row but can provide cover in backs as the game progresses, if needed.
Jordan Rapana makes his 250th career appearance, while Liam Knight and Sam Eseh are both included after avoiding further punishment following their respective cards at Magic.
Leeds welcome Brodie Croft back into the pivot positions, with the Australian missing the last few weeks with a hamstring problem. He starts alongside Jake Connor, who will be determined to carry on his fine recent form against his old club.
Ryan Hall starts on the wing after sitting out of the Rhinos’ last game with an ankle issue, while co-captain Cameron Smith returns to the fold and is named on the bench.
