Leeds Rhinos suffer huge blow

Leeds Rhinos may be in front against Champions St Helens but they have lost the last player they would want to lose to injury.

Already without Blake Austin and with Morgan Gannon in the halves, Leeds’ number seven Aidan Sezer has limped off the field after a solid start from the number seven.

It came after he probed and looked for a gap and nearly found it behind Konrad Hurrell but as the former Leeds centre and Jonny Lomax shut the gap Sezer picked up an injury his lower leg it seemed.

Jon Wells has reported that it looks to be a groin injury.

As Sezer struggled round the field, Leeds went the length of the pitch. Quick hands inside their own 20 metres, Ash Handley released second-row Rhyse Martin.

He cut inside of Hurrell and Lomax to tear completely away.

He had Richie Myler on his inside and Ash Handley on his outside and he made the right choice in passing the ball to Handley to score a delightful try.

It is already shaping up to be a great game in the early summer sunshine.
