Leeds Rhinos suffer big blow as David Fusitu’a heads for surgery

Leeds Rhinos interim Head Coach Jamie Jones-Buchanan has named his 21 man squad for this Friday’s Betfred Super League clash with St Helens at Headingley, live on Sky Sports.

There is only one change from last week’s squad with Brad Dwyer missing out through one game suspension. He is joined on the sidelines by Zane Tetevano, who is completing his two game ban this week.

Youngster Max Simpson is called up to the first team squad to complete the 21 man squad.

Jones-Buchanan has not included Tongan international David Fusitu’a. The winger has a minor operation on his knee injury and will be out of action for a couple of weeks.

Leeds Rhinos vice captain Ash Handley is set to make his 150th appearance for the club having made his debut in 2014 at London Broncos.

Cameron Smith will make his 100th career appearance having made 82 appearances so far for the Rhinos along with five for Featherstone on dual registration, eleven on loan with Bradford Bulls in 2017 along with one appearance for England Knights.
