This week we have some huge games finishing with Leeds Rhinos’ trip to Huddersfield Giants with a record crowd expected for the Giants after some big games this weekend with Wigan Warriors set for a huge top of the table clash and a massive game in the play-off race between Warrington Wolves and Hull FC.
The result of that fixture could have a big impact on the game between Leeds and Huddersfield.
Leeds, Warrington, Hull FC, Hull KR and Salford Red Devils are battling for a spot in the top six with the final two spots open.
Huddersfield Giants could even have a chance if results go their way and they are able to defeat the Rhinos.
As we look ahead to this game, the team news has been confirmed with Leeds missing one major star as he returns to Australia.
Morgan Gannon returns to the squad after making his come back from injury last week against Warrington reserves.
However Leeds are without James McDonnell, who has not recovered enough from the back injury he suffered last week, and Corey Johnson, who left last week’s win over Warrington with an injury.
The Rhinos are also without Nene Macdonald, who has returned to Australia for a week to attend the birth of his child this weekend.
Youngster Alfie Edgell could make his debut after being drafted into the squad following a string of impressive performances for the Reserves whilst winger Liam Tindall is back in contention for selection after being called into the 21 man squad this week.
Rohan Smith has named his 21 man squad for Sunday's trip to Huddersfield. Leeds are without Nene Macdonald, James McDonnell and Corey Johnson from last week however Morgan Gannon returns to the squad with Liam Tindall and Alfie Edgell both in contention as well

The Giants are aiming for a record crowd on Sunday but are also hoping to right the wrongs of recent defeats that have undoubtedly hurt their play-off chances.
The Giants are looking ahead to next year for the most part where they are expected to have Adam Clune replace Theo Fages as he heads to Catalans Dragons.
