It was confirmed this week that two Leeds Rhinos players had undergone surgery.
New signing Luke Hooley required ankle surgery which leaves him out for 12 weeks whilst star man Mikolaj Oledzki had surgery on his shoulder which leaves him out for 12-14 weeks.
Now though Oledzki has given a positive update on his injury talking to the club’s YouTube channel:
“Yeah perfect really, the best it could have done. It feels fine now, it’s been a week or so. Everything is going in the right direction, I am where I wanted to be and the same with the medical staff, they’re happy.
“The surgeon did a great job, we’re on a recovery stage now and hopefully get moving.”
He is also expecting to get some training done sooner rather than later despite the injury:
“It’s been a week and I’m doing more than I thought I would, been able to get moving and hopefully in a week I’ll be able to do some conditioning and get myself trimming some Christmas weight down because it has been a while.
“Get some skills done when I can move my arm more freely. Give it a month or so I am hoping to be in a good position.”
