Leeds Rhinos signing reveals the extra lengths the club has gone to in order to make him feel at home

Leeds Rhinos have made a number of changes to their squad going into 2023 as they look to go one step further than their 2022 campaign and end a six year wait for Grand Final glory.

They have signed Nene MacDonald from Leigh Leopards, Sam Lisone from the NRL, Derrell Olpherts from Castleford Tigers, James McDonnell from Wigan Warriors, Luke Hooley from Batley Bulldogs, Luis Roberts from Leigh, Toby Warren from York and Leon Ruan from Doncaster.

One of their best signings though is French international Justin Sangare as they bring in him from Toulouse Olympique.

He also starred from France in the Rugby League World Cup and was one of their best players in the tournament and caused problems for England in the second game of the tournament.

As he settles in at Leeds, he has revealed that the players have made him really comfortable:

“It’s been very good, the boys are a good crew and help me a lot even if I don’t speak English very well, they help me a lot.

“It’s the best for me.”

Meanwhile, he revealed the extra lengths the club has gone to make him feel at home as he praised everyone at the club:

“Everyone, all the guys and the staff are helping me a lot, with my house, my car and helping me get to the training centre.”
