Last night was a great night for the Leeds Rhinos.
After a lacklustre run of form, the Rhinos turned on the style to give themselves hope of salvaging their season.
They ran in nine tries against Huddersfield Giants with Rhyse Martin, David Fusitu’a and Sam Walters all bagging braces.
Meanwhile, Ash Handley, Richie Myler and James McDonnell scored the Rhinos’ other tries in a great win for the West Yorkshire side.
It was made more memorable with the Rhinos welcoming back legend Rob Burrow and his family as he continues to fight MND.
The good news keeps coming for Leeds as well with French publication L’Indepedent reporting that the Rhinos could be set to sign Catalans Dragons forward Mickael Goudemand for next season and beyond.
The Rhinos are said to be in discussions with the French international over a move to Headingley which would see him link up with Justin Sangare who has been a brilliant signing for the Rhinos in 2023 since joining from Toulouse Olympique at the end of last season.
Goudemand will go some way to replacing the departing Sam Walters with the prop expected to sign for Wigan Warriors.
Meanwhile, the Rhinos have reportedly missed out on Lachlan Fitzgibbon with Warrington Wolves beating Leeds to the punch according to Leeds Live.
