Leeds Rhinos suffered a narrow defeat to Warrington Wolves last night but the player ratings of some remained high.
In Super League’s 5,000th game, it was Warrington who came out on top as Sam Burgess’ side won 16-14 thanks to a late try from Jake Thewlis whilst Leeds were down to 12 men to deny the Rhinos another brilliant victory.
After beating Wigan last week, it looked like the Rhinos would hold on for another statement win but they were found wanting with time being their enemy in the end, quite literally as they ran out of time whilst packing a last-minute scrum.
Brad Arthur bemoaned the high penalty count after the match whilst others might ask whether the decision to send Leeds forward Keenan Palasia to the sin bin late on was soft, however, these are all questions that the Rhinos can rue whilst they have a week off after being knocked out of the Challenge Cup.
After all the drama, the player ratings are now in. Here’s how every Leeds Rhinos man scored.
