Leeds Rhinos ran out to a 46-0 win against Toulouse Olympique as they continued in their campaign to win the League Leaders Shield.
Having scored 48 against the Olympians in France, Leeds went better today as they managed to keep the visitors out at Headingley in a shut-out performance.
With just six games to go, Brad Arthur’s side have a two-point lead atop Super League and it could well come down to their round 26 game against Wigan Warriors, who also won well on Friday night.

Full-back: Lachie Miller – 6
Nice pass for the opening try and lovely kick for Jake Connor’s second; involved in a try-saving tackle, but made a couple of errors
Wing: Riley Lumb – 6
Had some chances, could have backed himself more but took his try well when it came
Centre: Ned McCormack – 7
Unfortunate with his disallowed try, put in a big hit, but didn’t return from a second-half head injury assessment
Centre: Jack Bird – 6
One error, but the final pass for his winger’s try was good work
Wing: Harry Newman – 6
Out of position, but scored a nice try
Stand-off: Brodie Croft – 7
Lovely pass for the first try of the second half, some good involvement without needing to hit top gear
Scrum-half: Jake Connor – 8
Bagged a brace of tries, set up a couple more, landed seven goals from eight attempts and always involved
Prop: Mikolaj Oledzki – 6
Did well for his try to reward a strong opening spell
Hooker: Jarrod O’Connor – 7
Played 80 minutes for the second time in six days, some nice runs out of acting-half and worked hard
Prop: Cooper Jenkins – 6
Nothing spectacular, but did all right
Second-row: Chris Hankinson – 8
Involved in a try-saving tackle, had a strong game and looked good when he moved to centre
Second-row: James McDonnell – 7
Extended his try-scoring run to three games, worked hard and earned a rest in the last quarter
Loose-forward: Kallum Watkins – 6
Typically hard-working display in his 350th Super League game
Sub: Cameron Smith – 7
Lovely work for Croft’s try and was pretty good overall
Sub: Presley Cassell – 7
Good work for Leeds’ third try and again made the most of lengthy game time
Sub: Tom Holroyd – 9
Scored for the third successive game, had another ruled out and is becoming a very effective impact player

Came on for the last 20 and didn’t look like an 18-year-old making his debut
