Leeds Rhinos offer important warning to fans prior to Wakefield clash

Leeds Rhinos are set to host Wakefield Trinity on Friday evening at Headingley on the back of their impressive win over St Helens.

Wakefield will be visiting looking to get their first win of the season after losing to Catalans, Wigan and Huddersfield.

It’s been a tough week for Trinity and Mark Applegarth with the news that star winger Lewis Murphy has also been ruled out for the season.

As for Leeds they’re receiving injury boosts with the return of Harry Newman and James Bentley.

They also saw Sam Walters escape a ban meaning Trinity will be facing a very strong Leeds side on Friday night.

It’s also expected to be a strong attendance given that fans will be buoyed by their victory over world champion St Helens.

However the club have offered a key warning to fans and it’s one that’s to do with travelling to the stadium.

The adverse weather had led to many fearing that the game could be called off, but instead it’s going to provide issues with fans getting to the ground.

The club have tweeted an important update about a closed bridge.

Fans have been advised to make alternate route plans given this news, and those travelling who are unfamiliar with Leeds should certainly take note.
