For the fourth time, Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers clash at the Magic Weekend at St James’ Park.
The Tigers have won two of the previous three but Leeds Rhinos really kick started their season last year with a win against the Tigers in Newcastle.
Castleford are desperate for a win with just two this season one of which came against the Rhinos.
Leeds aren’t just playing for the two points but are looking to do something special for Doddie Weir as they don a special jersey in honour of him and to raise money in the fight against MND.
Leeds need a win for their play-offs hopes.
The team news is now in.
The Rhinos are without Aidan Sezer, Harry Newman and Morgan Gannon, who were all forced off injured in last Friday’s loss to St Helens at Headingley. James McDonnell who successfully appealed his ban is in the squad. James Bentley is back in the 21 man squad after passing the return to play protocols following his concussion.
Blake Austin is set to return to action after missing the last two games whilst youngster Leon Ruan and Alfie Edgell could make their debuts after being included in the initial squad.
Austin’s return comes after Smith said he wouldn’t be ready for the game.
Rohan Smith has named his 21-man squad to face Castleford at the Magic Weekend at St James' Park in Newcastle
