Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield and his Extra Mile Challenge nominated for top award

The film documented Kevin Sinfield’s epic Extra Mile Challenge back in 2021 has been nominated for a top sports industry award.

The film was produced by Leeds-based production company RAM Films and has been nominated in the ‘Original Stand Alone Content’ category at the prestigious Sports Industry Awards. The awards take place on Thursday 12th May at Evolution London.

Sinfield has now raised over £5 million inside twelve months from his two challenges and inspired hundreds of more people to take up their own challenge.

RAM Films who were granted exclusive access throughout the day long challenge from Leicester to Leeds and have captured previously unseen moments as Sinfield faced a physical and mental battle to get to the finish line.

Donations will be split equally between the Leeds Hospitals Charity appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND supporting people living with MND and their families, and the MND Association which funds multi-disciplinary care delivered at the Centre and others across the country, as well as research into potential treatments for the disease.
