Leeds Rhinos launch radical new third kit for 2023

Leeds Rhinos have launched a very different looking third kit for 2023.

The white, pink and yellow shirt is inspired by the culture of Leeds as part of Leeds’ Year Of Culture which began recently at the club’s Headingley Stadium and is a city wide celebration.

The shirt pays homage to the Victoria Gate, the Corn Exchange, the Civic Hall, The Town Hall. Trinity, and St Paul’s House.

Meanwhile stars representing the city crest appear all over the jersey:

The shirt is Leeds’ third kit for the 2023 season and will likely be seen in games such as their trip to Wakefield Trinity and Belle Vue as the Wakefield kit will likely clash with both Leeds’ home and away kits for 2023 with the Rhinos home shirt being a dark blue and their away being turquoise whilst the Wakefield home kit is a mix of light and dark blue.

The Rhinos also released a third kit last year which was again pink.

This featured in some of Leeds’ famous wins last season including their thrashings of Warrington Wolves and Hull FC as well as their comeback win over Catalans Dragons and their play-off win against the same opposition.

The shirts are available to order right now on the club’s shop and from Elite Sports Pro who distribute the Oxen designed shirts.

Oxen first joined the Rhinos at the end of 2020 and have produced a number of shirts which are tributes to Rob Burrow and another could be on the cards for 2023 after these three.

Leeds have had four kits in each of the last three seasons after all.
