Leeds Rhinos’ injury list after two stars return

Leeds Rhinos Brad Arthur

Leeds Rhinos take on Catalans Dragons tonight but several players won’t feature. Here’s the injury round-up for Brad Arthur’s side.

It’s been confirmed by Arthur that Leeds Rhinos will welcome back halves Brodie Croft and Matt Frawley for the showdown with Catalans Dragons in Perpignan.

However, here’s who wasn’t available for selection in their 21-man squad, plus one player who was included, but won’t feature.

Leeds Rhinos’ injury list

Lachie Miller
The full-back began pre-season carrying a hamstring injury and subsequently picked up a calf muscle issue. Though named in this week’s 21, he won’t play, but could be available for next Friday’s Challenge Cup tie at St Helens

Maika Sivo
Leeds’ star wing signing suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during Ash Handley’s testimonial game against Wigan Warriors on January 26 and won’t play a competitive match this year.

Cameron Smith
Leeds’ loose-forward and co-captain had an operation on an ankle injury last week. The recovery time is eight-10 weeks.

Tom Holroyd
The prop was suspended for two games following an incident in last week’s win against Castleford Tigers. He’ll be back in contention for the home game against Wigan Warriors on Saturday, Match 22.

Ben Littlewood
The 20-year-old forward underwent surgery on a hamstring injury early in pre-season. He is a couple of months away from being available for selection.

Ned McCormack
The rookie centre hasn’t played since suffering hamstring damage in the act of scoring against Warrington last July. He has had an operation and could be sidelined for the entire season.

Max Simpson
The centre had hoped to be back on the field this month, for the first time since an anterior cruciate ligament tear in January, 2023, but sustained a separate hamstring injury in training, ruling him out until April.

Fergus McCormack
Like his elder brother, the teenage half-back has a hamstring injury and no return date has been given.
