Leeds Rhinos fans fume after lack of ban following Super League controversy

It was less of a busy day for the Disciplinary Match Review Panel with five stars getting charged from the Super League action on Sunday and Monday.
Those who were charged were as follows:
Korbin Sims (Hull KR) – Grade C Contact with Match Official – 3 Match Penalty Notice
Romain Navarette (Toulouse Olympique) – Grade C Head Butt – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Liam Watts (Castleford Tigers) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Dean Whare (Catalans Dragons) – Grade B Shoulder Charge – 1 Match Penalty Notice
Jack Ormondroyd (Salford Red Devils) – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 0 Match Penalty Notice
The following player was handed a caution:
Ethan Havard (Wigan Warriors) – Dangerous Throw
However, Leeds Rhinos fans have been taking to social media to outline their frustration at the fact that Catalans Dragons prop Sam Kasiano was not given a ban following an incident on Brad Dwyer that went unpunished and forced the hooker to leave the field.
Meanwhile, head coach Rohan Smith was unhappy with one incident from that game.
“There was a critical moment at 6-6 – last tackle on the tryline – where (Michael) McIlorum is laying in the ruck.
“It’s one of those days, sometimes you need that to go your way and it didn’t and then we weren’t good enough to respond to that and the better team certainly won.
“It was a good, hard battle for most of the second-half, but we weren’t good enough for too much of the first-half.”
Now, all focus turns to Saturday as Leeds take on the Castleford Tigers in what will be the biggest game of the season for both teams as the play-offs looming.
