Leeds Rhinos are doing it tough at the moment. Not only are the Rhinos 11th in the league having thrown away a point against Huddersfield on Thursday despite leading by 10 with 150 seconds left, but once again they’re being hit by injury.
In fact, Leeds could have as many as three teenagers in their side against Castleford on Easter Monday. Morgan Gannon is a given whilst Max Simpson and Jack Sinfield are expected to debut.
Sinfield is expected to be a real star and has shone in the reserves and under 18s so far this season. He almost single-handedly beat Wigan’s under 18s on Thursday nailing the winning drop goal and coming up with a game saving tackle.
However, the lightning quick and explosive Max Simpson also shone in that game and both could very well be ready for a first taste of Super League action tomorrow.
That said, it might not be long until we see some first team talent return for the Rhinos ending their reliance on youth with Tom Holroyd and Richie Myler looking good in training today as they were both pictured sprinting despite battling back from long term injuries.

Holroyd has yet to feature this year following a problem picked up in pre-season. Myler meanwhile started the first game of the season at stand-off with Blake Austin suspended but went off in the opening quarter with an injury.
His return would be timely with Jack Walker now ruled out for eight weeks.
