Leeds Rhinos have announced that Brodie Croft will leave the club at the end of the season.
Croft joined the Rhinos in 2024, moving alongside hooker Andy Ackers in a major deal from Salford Red Devils.
Joining a three-year deal, his contract will now not be renewed, despite the club’s best efforts to keep hold of him for a longer period.
In his time in Blue and Amber so far, he has featured in 62 games for the club, and he will add to that tally before he departs for an unnamed club in 2027.
It has been widely reported that the Australian will join Warrington Wolves, with the Super League club offering an unrefusable deal to the 28-year-old.
Perth Bears and St George Illawarra Dragons were also in the race, however it seems increasingly likely that it will be Sam Burgess’ side he joins for 2027.
A statement shared by Leeds said: “Leeds Rhinos have confirmed that stand off Brodie Croft, 28, will leave the club at the end of the 2026 Betfred Super League season.
“Croft’s management informed the club last week that he had agreed a deal for 2027 and beyond with another club and will therefore end his three seasons at the Rhinos at the completion of this season.”
