CitySprint – the UK’s largest same day distribution company – has today announced a further expansion of its presence in the North of England, as it becomes an official partner of the Leeds Rhinos.
The two-year deal will see CitySprint act as an Associate Club Sponsor for the highly successful Rugby League club, collaborating and supporting the club across multiple streams of activity.
The new partnership with the Leeds Rhinos is a further step for CitySprint as it expands its presence in the North of England and widens its support for the local Leeds community.
Operating in Leeds for over 12 years, CitySprint has a long history of working with local authorities, businesses and non-profit organisations in the area. Since August 2021, CitySprint has worked with Leeds City Council to help tackle the climate crisis and has carried out over 4,000 emissions-free deliveries with five electric vans, completing a total of 35,200 emission-free miles.
Last year they also became a “Business Hero” for Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm and sponsored the Royal Armouries’ Light Night.
Rosie Bailey, Commercial Director at CitySprint said: “It is an honour to partner with the Leeds Rhinos. Not only are we impressed by what the Leeds Rhinos achieve on the pitch, but we are incredibly inspired by the work they do to uplift the local community, and we’re excited to collaborate with them to help further their mission.
“By partnering with the club, we hope to make a real difference in the city and are thrilled to continue building great partnerships in Leeds and support businesses across Yorkshire.”
Rob Oates, Commercial Director at Leeds Rhinos said: “We are very excited to have CitySprint on board as our newest partner. CitySprint is a business that has really chosen to invest in Leeds Rhinos and support our local community.
“This partnership is the perfect step for us to align and find new ways to have a positive impact. I look forward to seeing how the partnership between us will evolve over the next two years and how we can bring our businesses together to show support for Leeds.”
