Leeds make sensational offer for new head coach

Leeds Rhinos have made an offer to Anthony Seibold to coach them next year, according to Australian journalist Phil ‘Buzz’ Rothfield in the Daily Telegraph.

Richard Agar has currently been at the helm at the West Yorkshire club since midway through 2019, guiding the Rhinos to a Challenge Cup success in 2020.

However, the former Wakefield and Hull FC boss has been linked with a move to Cronulla Sharks to be with long-term friend Craig Fitzgibbon.

Seibold was most recently the head coach of NRL side Brisbane Broncos, but left at the end of 2020 with the club in dire straits.
