Leeds forced into changes for Huddersfield clash with NINE on the sideline

Richard Agar has named his 21 man squad for the Rhinos this Thursday’s Betfred Super League clash with Huddersfield Giants at Emerald Headingley, kick off 7.45pm.

Agar is forced into making a number of changes to his squad due to injury with Luke Gale the latest player to be sidelined after he suffered a knee injury at Leigh. Konrad Hurrell is included in the initial 21 man squad but remains a doubt with a foot injury.

There is good news however with King Vuniyayawa and Callum McLelland set to return as they complete their HIA return to play protocols however Matt Prior is still unavailable through Covid, he is out of isolation but must complete the mandatory seven days return to play protocol so will miss out on Thursday’s game.

Leeds are still without Jack Broadbent (ankle), Liam Sutcliffe (knee), Alex Sutcliffe (knee), Jack Walker (foot), Mikolaj Oledzki (toe) and Alex Mellor (knee) whilst Rhyse Martin will complete a one game suspension on Thursday. Corey Hall and Levi Edwards are both on standby to be recalled from their loan spells at York and Batley respectively.

Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow MBE will be the guest of honour at Thursday night’s game.
