Leeds chasing NRL youngster?

Leeds Rhinos are being linked with yet another halfback, this time in the shape of St George Illawarra Dragons youngster Jai Field.

The 22-year-old has shown promise since making his debut for the Dragons in 2017 but has failed to nail down a regular starting spot.

He’s instead been plying his trade for the club’s reserve grade side in the Canterbury Cup, scoring 58 points in 15 games.

Rhinos coach Richard Agar is currently in Australia and according to sportingnews.com, Field is one of the players he has sounded out in recent weeks.

Leeds don’t currently have any space on their overseas quota and so may have to move a player on if they’re keen on signing Field.
