Castleford Tigers take on Huddersfield Giants this Sunday, hunting their second win of the season.
Lee Radford finally got his first win of the season against former side Hull FC last weekend with an understrength team.
But, it’s that attitude from the understrength team that Radford was most pleased with.
“It’s a good advert for tuning up with the right attitude and the right energy and put some importance on some of those areas – your kick chase, line speed and scramble and your movement of the ball.
“Then I think it doesn’t matter what side we put out, we will be there or thereabouts.”
Radford spoke about the one thing that his Castleford players must need to excel in ahead of the weekend’s game at the John Smith’s Stadium.
“We’re going chalk and cheese – we’ve gone from playing on the biggest field in the competition from the littlest one.
“Our kick chase is going to be particularly important for us here and if there is one thing we need to get right this week it is going to be that.”
Huddersfield, meanwhile, are in great form having won three of their opening four games of the 2022 Super League season so far.
