Lee Radford makes surprising selection choice though Greg Eden returns

Lee Radford has made a surprising selection choice ahead of Castleford Tigers’ fixture with Wigan Warriors today.

Greg Eden returns on the left wing but there is no place for Jason Qareqare despite him impressing in recent weeks.

Derrell Olpherts retains his spot on the right wing despite inconsistencies with Jake Trueman and Gareth O’Brien in the halves.

Liam Watts returns from suspension and goes straight back into the forward spot with Paul McShane at hooker.

Bureta Faraimo comes in at right centre with Jake Mamo returning home on compassionate leave as Mahe Fonua occupies the other centre spot with Ryan Hampshire at fullback.

Joe Westerman, Kenny Edwards and George Lawler occupy the back row spots whilst Adam Milner, Nathan Massey, Daniel Smith and Suaia Matagi on the bench.

Meanwhile, Wigan Warriors head coach Matty Peet has named Jai Field in the halves with the absence of Cade Cust and Tommy Leuluai after the former dislocated his shoulder and the latter took a slight knock in the Challenge Cup Final.
