Lebanon vs Ireland: Kick-off time, Venue, TV Channel and Team News

In what could be the game of the round, Lebanon meet Ireland in a shoot out for a quarter-final spot.

The winner will likely finish second in the group to New Zealand and set up a quarter-final clash with Australia.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Kick-off time and venue

The game kicks off at 14:30 at Leigh Leopards’ Leigh Sports Village.

TV Channel

TV coverage starts at 14:00 on BBC Two.

Team News

The big news is that Lebanon will be without star stand-off Adam Doueihi through a one-match ban for “foul and abusive language” towards the referee in Lebanon’s defeat to New Zealand. Ireland meanwhile are as strong as ever with the likes of Richie Myler, Luke Keary, the Senior twins and the King brothers set to be central to the game.
