With pre-season friendlies just days away in some cases most sides have released their playing kits for the 2023 season but the latest are League One’s Rochdale Hornets who have released an amazing set of kits for the upcoming campaign.

That 2023 campaign will sadly see Hornets compete in a 10-team division with the earlier announcement that West Wales Raiders won’t compete in the 2023 season, but the Hornets will be gunning for promotion in sleek new kits.

The side revealed their away kit first via Twitter and will wear a stylish shirt that is black in colour with yellow trim and a hexagonal design featuring across the shirt in gold and chrome colouring.

Hornets blue club crest stands out in contrast with the colouring in what looks set to be a fan favourite in the upcoming season.

Fan response has already been incredibly positive with numerous responses insinuating that they’ll be purchasing it as well as their CEO passing comment.

As for the sides home kit it highlights the 151-year-old club’s traditional colours with a red bottom half below a solid white hoop displaying the sponsor and then their traditional blue across the chest and shoulders.

The white trim on the shirt and gradually fading hoops across the midriff give it a simplistic and classy feel.

It’s sure to be on plenty of people’s Christmas lists but they’ll have to wait as it’s only available for pre-order at the moment.
