It’s now well known that Adrian Lam will be leaving Wigan at the end of the season.
And, he talked to the media today for the first time since that news came out earlier in the week.
Lam has confirmed that he will stay in rugby league, though he wasn’t too keen on expressing what that would mean in terms of coaching opportunities.
“I’ll discuss that a little bit later on when the time is right,” Lam said.
“I don’t really want to talk about that, but there are opportunities there to pursue.
“When the time is right I’ll talk about that, but I’m really excited about what is ahead for me.
“I’ll stay in the game of rugby league, it’s what I’ve done all my life so nothing will change there.”
Lam will take charge of Wigan as they head to the Magic Weekend at St James’ Park for a crunch clash with Warrington.
