We have more big games this week as Warrington Wolves and Hull FC collide in a vital game in the play-off race, Wigan Warriors head over to France in a big game at the top of the league as Leeds Rhinos head over to Huddersfield Giants who are expecting a record crowd.
There are big games in the fight for survival as Castleford Tigers take on St Helens with Salford Red Devils taking Wakefield Trinity whilst there is a rematch of the Challenge Cup Final between Leigh Leopards and Hull KR meeting for the fourth time.
Speaking ahead of the game, Kyle Amor has had his say on The Last Tackle:
“We talked about Hull KR and how they performed against Helen’s, you know, 35, 30 minutes in, that was a deadlock. Usually the side that loses a Challenge Cup final, there’s normally a reaction and that’s probably what you saw there, albeit that the game ended up getting away from them.
“Leigh, however, they surprised me given how close the score line was at half-time. Of course, Catalan then blew them away. Such a difficult and emotional week to back up after. However, this side, this is almost the perfect game for Hulk KR to go back in and try and get their claim for the playoffs. This is going to be a very tough one to call, a very, very tough one.
“I’m going to go Hull KR win this one and it will be that home crowd that help them do that as well.”
Meanwhile, Amor is also predicting a huge shock backing Wakefield to stun Salford giving them hope of survival:
“This is the best option for Wakefield. They’re not playing too high up in the table. Salford are just getting back on form, so can Wakefield capitalise on that? We’ve seen Wakefield put on performances this season that shock and surprise.
“They’re going away to Salford, which is obviously never the easier draw, but I think Wakefield are going to have a little bit of renewed vigour. They were very close on Friday, they nearly edged it, they’re going to be a little bit upset from that and they’re going to write some wrongs and I think I’m going to back Wakefield to do it.”
