Abdull, Kenny-Dowall and Brierley named in Hull KR squad for Wakefield friendly

Hull KR new signings Jordan Abdull, Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Ryan Brierley have all been named to face Wakefield Trinity on Sunday.

The game offers Rovers’ fans the first chance to see what the club’s new halfback partnership may look like, with Abdull and Brierley set to step into the shoes of Danny McGuire and Josh Drinkwater, who both left the club in the off season.

Youngster Mikey Lewis has also been named and will look to stake his own claim for a starting berth in the six and seven positions.

Weller Hauraki will captain the side, which includes 12 of the club’s 20 new signings.
