KR centre looking forward to partnership with Tank on the Flank

Hull KR centre Thomas Minns has told of his excitement about his potential partnership with powerhouse winger Justin Carney.

With the Qualifiers right around the corner, Minns made his comeback from injury against Halifax in the last round of Championship fixtures while Carney has missed the last two games.

As the second tier table-toppers strive for a place in Super League, former Leeds and Featherstone outside back Minns will be aiming to cause problems for the opposition alongside Carney.

“I know when we get out there together that I’m going to use him to my advantage,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

“I’ll let him do his thing and play off the back of him.

“I’ve never played with a winger of his impact and capabilities so I’m excited as to what that partnership will hold.”
