Koukash reveals he has had ‘many offers’ to return from Super League clubs

Dr Marwan Koukash has been linked with a move back into rugby league after speaking on BBC Radio Manchester.

And, now the Palestine-born racehorse owner has revealed he has had “many offers” from both Super League and Championship clubs to plough his hard-earned money into new clubs.

“The majority of Super League clubs are looking for investment and when I came into this sport I didn’t just come to take part, I came and invested a huge amount of money,” Koukash said.

“That kind of money – if I had to invest it in another club knowing what I know now about the sport, the experience that I have and the amount of things I have learnt – I’m sure I would make very positive contributions.

“Many clubs have approached me and we have talked about the possibility of me joining, some are in the Championship and some are Super League so the door is open for me to join many clubs.”
