Knights sign promising young centre

The Newcastle Knights have signed Enari Tuala from the Cowboys.

Former Junior Kangaroo and Australian Prime Minister’s XIII Representative Enari Tuala has signed a one-year-deal with the Newcastle Knights effective immediately.

The 21-year-old made his NRL debut for the North Queensland Cowboys in round 24 of the 2017 season against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Since that point the centre has played in the NRL sporadically, making seven appearances for the Cowboys in 2019, playing for the Northern Pride in the Intrust Super Cup for the majority of the year.

Things are looking up for Tuala though, he is making the move to the Newcastle Knights during a time where they are in need of a centre to fill the role left by former Knights and now Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks layer Jesse Ramien.
