Wakefield’s Tom Johnstone has done it tough with injuries over the years.
And, now the winger is set for another four-to-six weeks on the sidelines, Trinity boss Chris Chester has revealed.
“He went for an operation on Tuesday; there were three scenarios and unfortunately for us it’s the best case scenario,” Chester said.
“We have our fingers crossed – it’s a clean out so he’s having bits of cartilage shaved off because he’s had some discomfort there.
“We’re probably looking at top end four to six weeks.”
