Kevin Brown suggests he would be the perfect player to fix Super League side’s problems

Kevin Brown has had his say on which current Super League side he would love to play for.

The former halfback who played for the likes of Huddersfield Giants, Warrington Wolves, Salford Red Devils and Widnes Vikings picked out one of his former clubs.

But it was the Wigan Warriors.

“I’d love to play at Wigan. as stand off in that team right now, where you’ve got French and Field and the pace you have around you and playing alongside Harry Smith,” he said on BBC Five Live.

“I think they could really do with a good standoff. I think if they got a good standoff then to be able to have that combination with Harry Smith they’ll be such a good team.

“I’d also like to play for Matty Peat as well. I really like how he coaches, he’s demanding, he’s honest and I’d love to go there in my peak.

“I played there at the start of my career and I was a massive Wigan fan so I’d have liked to have been there in my peak.”

Brown did also praise Hull KR: “I really like the way Willie Peters has got them playing. I think they’re dark horses for the competition.”
